Chen Lin stated that Guizhou's development of the prickly pear industry can be traced back to the 1970s. However, when fashion was in the stage of solving the problem of food and clothing, and health care was not emphasized, the development of the prickly pear industry ended in failure. In the 1990s, Guizhou Province proposed to restructure the strong style of prickly pear, but due to various reasons, the commercial application of prickly pear still had little effect. But Chen Lin believes that with the acceleration of the country's development of ecological agriculture industry, the "king of vitamin C", prickly pear, will once again return to people's perspective.

The path to entrepreneurship is not smooth. He printed a booklet on the development of the pear industry in Panxian County, distributed it to representatives and guests outside major local conferences, sought resource support from relevant departments, and finally received support from the local forestry department in 2009.
